Florfenicol (Florfenicol), is a synthetic monofluoride derivative of thiamphenicol, the molecular formula is C12H14Cl2FNO4S, white or off-white crystalline powder, odorless, very slightly soluble in water and chloroform, slightly soluble in acetic acid, can dissolve in methanol, ethanol. It is a new kind of veterinary chloramphenicol broad-spectrum antimicrobial drug successfully developed in the late 1980s.
Florfenicol (Florfenicol) is a synthetic monofluoride derivative of sulfoxamycin, white or white crystalline powder, odorless. Soluble in methanol and DMF, slightly soluble in water. It is the latest variety of aminoalcohols and has a wide antibacterial spectrum.
